PLANNING SECURED IN EALING

CEG has secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a 10 – 20 storey mixed-use development comprising 504 purpose-built student accommodation bedrooms and associated amenity areas, and 60,000sq.ft of office floorspace, alongside extensive public realm improvements.

Planning Manager, Andrew McPheat said: “The development will provide a significant boost to the local economy. As well as creating 600 new jobs, it will bring office workers and students into the area, adding to the vibrancy of Uxbridge Road. The proposals will support the education sector and directly address the shortfall in purpose-built student accommodation which, in turn, will free up homes for individuals and families in Ealing currently struggling to get onto the housing ladder.”
